Children's Mobile Response and Stabilization System
Provides mobile response services to children and adolescents, ages 5 - 17, with behavioral and emotional challenges in Bergen County.
Provides face-to-face response to crisis in the home within one hour of notification with the goals of de-escalating the crisis, maintaining safety and accessing the need for stabilization.
Goals:
- Respond to the individual needs of families and children in crisis
- Maintain children in safe and stable living arrangements
- Reduce the need for out of home placement
- Prevent unnecessary psychiatric hospitalization
