One day, a young person who was known to be very artistic was asked to draw what Bergen's Promise meant to him. It resulted in this drawing. When asked why he didn't show the adult's head, the youth replied: "The person extending a hand to the child could be anyone."

Youth involved at Bergen's Promise range in age from 5 – 21. They have serious and complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Many are teenagers. That's why this part of Bergen's Promise website is just for you.

Expression is an important part of personal growth as a young person. You are welcome to submit something – an essay, a poem, or artwork.
