On April 10th, Bergen’s Promise hosted our I/DD Camp and Provider Resource Fair. This event had more than 20 different resources for families to utilize. We were happy to welcome both new families and community partners to this event!
It was such a large event that it couldn’t be contained to just one floor. This event included resources such as Summer Camps, ABA/DIR providers, a dentist, a BP hub, FSO, the sheriff’s department, and many more. For older youth, we had a representative from DDD, as well as organizations focusing on support coordination and higher education. Small bites and refreshments were also available too.
Thank you to all our community partners that help support our families in the I/DD population. Their participation is impactful on our families and many families throughout Bergen County. Ultimately, we were happy to continue supporting our families and see them at this event.
