The 2026-2027 school year will be here before we know it! That's why Bergen's Promise is once again launching our Annual Backpack Drive!
This drive helps our youth start the academic year with the proper supplies they need to succeed. We are asking our local community to support this 2026 Backpack Drive by donating essential school supplies for children and teens throughout Bergen County.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors last year, we distributed over 400 backpacks filled with school essentials (notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, and more) to students at all grade levels. We expect that need to grow for this upcoming school year! Every backpack helps ensure that a young person can begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn.
In addition, monetary contributions are also welcome. These monetary donations help support our annual Back to School event for our youth. This event brings families together to experience fun, connection, and community building through a variety of activities and resources. Your donation can also help future Family Wellness Events that provide valuable resources, activities, and support for children and families throughout the year.
