Atlantic Aviation Supports Bergen’s Promise Family From Hurricane Ida

Tuesday, December 28, 2021

In the wake of Hurricane Ida back in September, Atlantic Aviation generously stepped up to help support one of our Bergen’s Promise families. The Oliver Family was displaced from their apartment due to the effects of Hurricane Ida. They were forced to relocate into a hotel with no idea when they could return to their home. Even months later, the family was also unable to return to their residence to retrieve personal items including clothing. In addition, the family lost their car in the flood. This family even made the news. Mr. Oliver in his own words spoke about the devastation on NorthJersey.com.

On November 9th, Christie Emden (Client Relations Manager) and Barbara Briccola (Regional Manager) of Atlantic Aviation presented the Oliver Family with the Atlantic Aviation Hurricane Ida award in the amount of $1000.

“ I am very appreciative of the financial relief offered”. “ It was a huge help getting us back on our feet.” said Mr. Oliver.

Atlantic Aviation is proud to be a Fixed Base Operator that touches hearts and lives. They are very passionate about company culture, which includes reaching out and serving the communities where they live and work. Their Atlantic Cares program officially started about 6 years ago, but active involvement in the community has always been a priority to them.

It is awesome to see partners in the community take on an active role to support families. Atlantic Aviation’s support this natural disaster was greatly appreciated by the family and will help to support the start of a long journey back home.
