In July, Commissioner Amoroso hosted her podcast at our Bergen's Promise office. Participating in the podcast was Bergen's Promise CEO, Dean Pastras, and Community Outreach Specialist/Training Facilitator, Nuha Kased-Hamoudeh, to discuss how mental health training is equipping community members to better support youth in crisis. Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton and Lieutenant Damian Pope of the Community Outreach Unit provided insight into how public safety interests with mental health and wellness as well.
