Bergen’s Promise Health Outreach Specialist, Nuha Hamoudeh, recently presented at Second Reformed Church of Hackensack as part of the church’s Sunday Seminar series on January 11, 2026. During the session, Nuha shared Bergen’s Promise’s presentation, “Mental Health Is Health,” which emphasized the importance of prevention, treatment, ongoing support, and reducing stigma surrounding mental health.
The discussion highlighted the role faith and spiritual well-being can play in healing, as well as how faith communities can serve as meaningful sources of support throughout an individual’s mental health journey. This presentation marks an important first step in building relationships and expanding training opportunities within this engaged faith community.
