Throughout the holiday season, Bergen’s Promise team members were busy spreading cheer. In November, members of our staff participated in the Meadowlands Basket Brigade which assembled over 300 food baskets for families throughout Bergen County. In addition to assembling the care packages, they also volunteered to assist in the delivery of the baskets to homes around the County.
December was extra special as we were able to fulfill over 160 toy requests this year for our youth through the collaboration and graciousness of our employees, along with the staff of SG Companies, Henry P. Becton Regional High School’s National Honor Society Club, and Supreme Consultants.
This year was extra special as SG Companies partnered to host a Holiday Party for families on December 11th. Youth enjoyed a variety of holiday arts & crafts, refreshments, and a special visit from Santa Claus who distributed gifts. Much of this event would not have been possible without the support of the Corporate Volunteer Committee of SG Companies. SG Companies team members fulfilled 60 toy requests. As neighbors in our Hackensack location, it is a pleasure to have a partnership with a company that strongly supports our Bergen County kids and families.
The Henry P. Becton High School National Honor Society Club members fulfilled 50 toy requests.
