This past weekend, Bergen’s Promise was proud to be part of the annual Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds event alongside our partners from the Passaic and Hudson CMOs.
Families and youth enjoyed a day centered around wellness, connection, and community support. It featured fun activities, interactive games, resource vendors, fitness and wellness activities, music, food, and opportunities to connect with local organizations dedicated to youth and family well-being.
Specifically, there were 96 BP Family members that came to enjoy the festivities! Overall, we were able to welcome 424+ attendees, support 31 resource tables, distribute over 400 food vouchers, provide 485 T-shirts, and offer 184 ice cream treats to children. We supported 12 entertainment, wellness, and activity stations throughout the day!
This year’s event was hosted by Passaic, and the day could not have come together so successfully without the incredible organization and leadership of Paulina Dutton. Paulina is not only the Community Relations and Resource Development Director at Circle of Care, but also a former Care Manager at Bergen's Promise. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication in making the event such a positive experience for everyone involved.
We are grateful to be part of an annual tradition that brings our CMO families and the whole community together to support healthy bodies, healthy minds, and brighter futures for youth and families.
